The annual Heroes and Helpers was held Tuesday December 20th at Target. Twenty Yakima Police Officers each took at least one child shopping to buy presents not only for the children but also for the children’s siblings and parents. Money for the shopping spree came from Target, private donations and from the police officers themselves.
