The Yakima Police Department took part in several block parties for the annual National Night Out. YPD Officers visited 22 separate block parties, including community parties at the Henry Beauchamp Center and Martin Luther King Jr. Park. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. NNO enhances the relationship between neighbors and the Yakima Police Department while bringing back a true sense of community.
