Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries when they were shot Saturday evening in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue and Oregon Avenue.
Just after 10:00 pm Saturday, Yakima Police Department (YPD) officers responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Oregon Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered 20-year-old Mario Calderon-Shadloy and 29-year-old Jennifer Reedy suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital. At last report, the victims were in stable condition.
No suspects have been arrested yet. YPD detectives are actively investigating the incident.
