Rosauers hosted the latest Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, May 3rd. Yakima Police Chief Dominic Rizzi was joined by several Yakima Police Officers and several local residents for conversation over a pastry and coffee, compliments of Rosauers Deli and Bakery. Many local residents showed up to ask specific questions, share specific concerns and just to thank the officers for working to keep the streets safe. The Yakima Police Department started the Coffee with a Cop program in February of 2015 and a CWC is held quarterly at various sites around the city and at various times. This is a great way to improve the communication between YPD and the citizens that we serve. YPD is one of several hundred law enforcement agencies in the United Sates and around the world to participate in the Coffee with a Cop program, which is now in all 50 states and nine countries.
