The Yakima Police Department’s (“YPD”) Online Police Reporting System is available on the YPD website, Yakimapolice.org. “Cop Logic,” allows anyone to conveniently submit a non-emergency incident from any internet-enabled PC or mobile device through this web-based online reporting system and immediately print a copy of the police report for free.
The system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to community members, businesses and agency personnel. Go to the yakimapolice.org website for a list of incidents that can be reported online. To file a report online, go to the website, click on the Online Incident Reporting tab and follow the directions.
This free online service will not accept domestic violence reports and auto collision reports. In order to file a collision report, you will need to go to the Washington State Patrol Online Motor Vehicle Collision Reporting (WSP OMVCR) website – http://www.wsp.wa.gov/driver/collision-records/.
