The Yakima Police Department held the annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Saturday February 20th, 2016 at Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima. The event raised some $15,000, with all of the proceeds going to help Special Olympic athletes right here in the Yakima Valley. The top team participant was Granger Middle School, which brought 35 divers.
