We had a wonderful turnout for the city wide National Night Out party at Sarg Hubbard Park on Monday, August 1st. A special thanks to U.S. Cellular and Yakima County Crime Stoppers for sponsoring the event. We would also like to thank Steve Hahn VW-Audio, GESA Credit Union, Target, Advance Life Systems, The Yakima Police Department Explorers and the Citizens Academy for their help to make the event a huge success. In addition to the city wide event there were twenty-one other block watch parties throughout Yakima as neighbors got together to help put an end to crime in their neighborhoods!
