Informational Class regarding Robberies

The Yakima Police Department is hosting an informational class regarding the recent robberies in our city. This class is for businesses and will be held on Monday, November 19th at 6:00 pm at the Yakima Police Department Training Room (207 S. Third Street). Taught by YPD Detectives and staff, the class will cover what to do in the event of a robbery, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) tips, and YPD’s new SafeCam program, among other things. Staff will be on hand to assist managers and owners in updating their contact information with the Yakima Police Department. Anyone who owns or manages a business is welcome to attend.
