3rd Street Business Robbed at Gunpoint

Just after 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st, Yakima police officers responded to an alarm from a business in the 300 block of South 3rd Street.   When officers arrived on scene, a cashier at the business told them that a lone armed suspect had entered the store, pointed a gun at the cashier, and demanded money.  The cashier gave the suspect money from the cash register and the suspect left the store on foot.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 5’6″ tall, and weighing about 140 pounds.
